Charitable Giving Can Save You Five to Six Percent
Be Charitable and Save 5-6 Percent
If you are charitable and Donate to one of these great charities you will receive an auto insurance discount…The Jimmy Fund, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Pan Mass Challenge, Special Olympics of Massachusetts, Melanoma Foundation.
These are all charities that are near and dear to us. Anyone that has watched a Boston Red Sox game is familiar with The Jimmy Fund and their great work. You may have also been part of The Pan Mass Challenge which brings thousands of cyclists together along a route from Sturbridge to Provincetown. Both of these charities raise money for, The Dana Farber Cancer Institute. The Melanoma Foundation of New England, provides public awareness, education and support for the prevention and treatment of skin cancer. While Special Olympics of Massachusetts serves to assist athletes with intellectual disabilities.
New Englanders are very charitable people. Helping neighbors, helping strangers, it doesn’t matter. When you see someone in need you just pitch in. If this sounds like you I hope you feel good about yourself because that compassion provides hope for our future. What you may not know is that charitable nature could save you 5% to 6% on your auto insurance. Donations you make to The Jimmy Fund, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Pan Mass Challenge, Special Olympics of Massachusetts, Melanoma Foundation, may qualify you for the credit.
Here is how it works. First you must have donated at least $25 to the Pan Mass Challenge or $50 to any of the remaining charities. Now if your auto insurance company is Mapfre Insurance and the charity is, Pan Mass Challenge you receive the 5% credit. Having Arbella Insurance and donating $50 to any of the other charities gets you a 6% credit. The last step is to call or email our office with the details of your charitable giving. We will take care of the rest. You just saved yourself some money while at the same time helping those in need.
Thank you for supporting these great causes.
